ABOUT SAM
I’m Samuel Hodge, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Lets In Mental Health & Recovery. I work with people navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, difficult family or religious dynamics, and life transitions, including people caring for a loved one with mental or physical conditions.
My experience spans outpatient, inpatient, and residential mental health care, with advanced training in dual diagnosis, group therapy, and family systems.
Outside the office, I’m brewing coffee, trying new recipes, reading short stories, writing poetry, hiking, dreaming up big ideas, and spending time with my family.
Read my Therapy Finder profile ↗I previously served as an Emerging Leader with the Ohio Counseling Association’s Association for Specialists in Group Work.
We’ll use metaphor and story to help things click, and get curious about your thoughts and emotions rather than simply cataloging them.
We’ll practice skills together to explore what works for you, while paying attention to the family, work, history, and relationships that shape what you’re carrying.
SERVICES
You don’t need to fit neatly into a category to begin a conversation. These are some of the concerns we can explore together.
A space to explore anxious thoughts, obsessive-compulsive concerns, and the ways they affect everyday life. We’ll talk about your experiences and the support you’re looking for.
Support when work, responsibility, or caring for a loved one leaves you stretched thin. There is room to talk about your needs alongside the needs of the people who depend on you.
Space for loss, change, college-life transitions, and the uncertainty of what comes next. You don’t need a tidy version of your story to begin.
Room to explore difficult family or religious dynamics, questions of meaning, and the relationships and experiences that shape your sense of self.
My work combines curiosity, practical skills, metaphor, and attention to the systems around you. My approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative work, with space for spiritual themes when they matter to you.
I work with adults ages 18 and older, across all stages of adulthood. In-person availability in Cincinnati, OH and Norwood, OH, with telehealth also available.
I offer individual, couples, family, and group appointments. Contact me to discuss fit, location requirements, and current options for the type of support you need.

For referring professionals, community partners, and organizations: let’s start with the need you’re seeing. I welcome conversations about referrals, partnerships, training, and consultation.
Reach out to discuss fit and current appointment options, or share my scheduling profile so the person you’re referring can contact me directly. Please don’t send sensitive client information by ordinary email.
Have an idea for working together? Share who you serve, the need you’re noticing, and what you hope a partnership could make possible. We can explore fit before committing to a scope of work.
Start with your audience and learning goals. We can discuss a training’s subject, format, timing, and scope before making arrangements; no continuing-education credit is promised here.
Bring the question, challenge, or project you want to think through. We can discuss whether consultation is the right fit and clarify the scope, boundaries, format, and next steps.
Email a brief description of your organization, the people you serve, and the kind of collaboration you have in mind. Keep the initial inquiry free of identifying client information.
We’ll discuss fit and confirm the proposed scope, delivery format, fees, and any information-sharing requirements before work begins.
Start a partnership conversationOrganizational training and consultation are distinct from an individual’s therapy. A partnership inquiry does not enroll anyone in clinical care; clinical services follow their own intake process.
Tell me whether you are considering an in-person or virtual format, along with your location and timeline. We’ll confirm what is feasible for the specific engagement before scheduling.
Reach out first to establish an appropriate communication route. Any sharing of client information must follow applicable consent, privacy, and professional requirements.
